WorldSkills is Australia’s largest and most prestigious trade and skills competition.

WorldSkills is a competition program for young Australians interested in challenging their skills and ability against other young trade or skilled people in their area, the nation and the world!

Competitions take place every two years in 30 regions right across Australia.  No matter where you live in Australia, whether you are in the city of Melbourne, Bunbury, Darwin, Townsville, Sydney, Canberra, Poret Augusta or Hobart, there will be a competition starting soon!

Following the regional competitions, the best competitors have the opportunity to take the challenge further to become a national champion and participate in the National Competition in 2010.

The National Competition will run over three days from Friday 7th May to Sunday 9th May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

By competing in WorldSkills competitions apprentices have the chance to really get noticed on a Regional, National and International level.

WorldSkills competitions will inspire you to be the best you can be and to prove how well you know the skills of your job.
