About Us:
Stanwell is committed to being safe, responsible and commercially focused. In partnership with Group Training Organisation, Central Queensland Apprentices and Trainees, we invite applications for the following Apprenticeships and Traineeship to commence in 2019:

2 x Dual Trade Electrical Instrumentation Apprenticeship (5 years)

2 x Mechanical Fitter and Turner Apprenticeship (4 years)

1 x Business Administration Traineeship (1 year)

About the Roles:
In these exciting roles you will be encouraged to develop a broad range of technical and interpersonal skills. On-the-job training will be undertaken at Stanwell Power Station; however rotation to other host employers may be required to ensure all competencies are gained by the successful applicants. Key challenges in these roles will include:

  • Balancing work and studies

  • Working with a range of teams and people on site

  • Contributing to Stanwell's values and safety culture

About You:
You could be a suitable candidate for one of these roles if you:

  • Are motivated to create a strong career path in the electricity generation industry;

  • Have initiative to achieve excellent results in work and study;

  • Are keen to develop your current knowledge and experience as well as strengths and development areas into something you can be proud of;

  • Understand the importance of working safely and setting a good example; and

  • Are enthusiastic about becoming a valued team member.
